Great American Speeches: A Webquest

This website is a self-guided journey through some important speeches given by American leaders over the past several decades. As you navigate the website, you will be expected to watch videos, read speeches, and visit different websites. You will answer questions, add discussions to public forums, and, ultimately, do research for a major writing assignment that will be completed a couple weeks from now.
Begin by posting a reply to the post below, titled "what makes a speech great?". You may also reply to what other students have posted. Once you have posted a reply on the forum click on one of the buttons below to start your journey.
(Note: to post on the forum you will have to sign in with google, yahoo, or another service, or set up an account with weekly.com---if you follow the instructions, this should only take a minute).
